What’s New

DesignInspire, an international exhibition about creativity, organized by HKTDC and partnered with HKDC’s flagship programme, BODW, had started successfully on 7 Dec. The DIP area under HKDC Pavilion showcased the works of 20 createpreneurs including both DIP incubatees and alumni.

We were excited to see the Honourable Mrs Carrie Lam, GBM, GBS, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR visiting the DIP Area and other exhibition areas of HKDC, along with The Honourable Edward Yau, GBS, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the Hong Kong SAR, Professor Eric Yim, JP, Chairman of the HKDC and Dr. Edmund Lee, Executive Director of HKDC.

The products of our incubatees attracted many inquiries and attention from visitors.

Supported by our incubatee Creote Studio Ltd, all incubatees information boards in the area were empowered by AR technology. Visitors were able to download freely an app named “WedCam” using smartphones or tablets to access extra video contents of the designers.
